Crushed Oyster Shells
Old Timer remedy to balance out pH in your wash. Stabilizes pH at 4.5-5. Ideal for sugar wash fermentations.
Directions: Sterilize first in hot water. Rinse before use. Place in a strainer and run water through until water is clean. Pitch 1-2 ounces per 5 gallons of wash directly into the wash, or place in a course bag.
Can be reused.
