Triticale is a Wheat/Rye hybrid developed in Scotland back in the late 1800's. The whiskey has some spicy notes of the rye but also a nice softness to it. There are hallmark sweet nutty flavors of the grain that we've come to expect as well as a bit of light smoke in the background.
